Lauren A Meinhardt, an associate attorney at Langlois Family Law, APC, is involved in a variety of practice areas of family law, including dissolution of marriage and paternity actions, child custody and support, spousal support, property valuation and division of property and domestic violence restraining orders.

It is Lauren’s dedication to her clients and her sensitivity to their individual circumstances that sets her apart from others in her field. Lauren is known for helping her clients during tumultuous and troubling times by sorting through their pressing issues in a sensible way and come to resolutions that reflect sound and positive decisions. Her versatile personality and client-oriented approach provides her with the ability to be a tenacious litigator when necessary or facilitate settlement.

Lauren has worked with Joe Langlois, Esq. since she was a law clerk in 2006 at Nachshin & Weston, L.L.P., later re-named Nachshin & Langlois, L.L.P, where she gained knowledge of intricate family law matters. Lauren began her family law legal career as a judicial extern for The Hon. Roy L. Paul of the Los Angeles County Superior Court. As a judicial extern, Lauren made recommendations on rulings relative to hundreds of case files; in particular, those bearing complex fact situations that dealt with diverse areas of the law. Lauren dissected hundreds of orders to show cause, supporting and responsive declarations, exhibits, transcripts, prior court rulings, and dozens of child custody evaluations. She also compiled years of case history to formulate concise and thorough briefs on the issues at hand and their relevance to applicable law. During law school, Lauren also gained significant family law experience as a law clerk at the family law firm of Armando J. Paz in Los Angeles.

Lauren graduated with honors from UCLA in 2002 with a bachelor of arts in communication studies and anthropology where she was on the dean’s list for four years. She received her juris doctorate in 2006 from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.

Lauren is licensed by the State Bar of California and was admitted to the United States District Court in June 2007. She is a member of the American Bar, Los Angeles County Bar and the Beverly Hills Bar Associations. A California Certified Mediator, Lauren is also fluent in Spanish.
